Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.91 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm

We are currently recruiting for a Counterbalance FLT Driver to join a busy waste management and recycling site in Burscough, Lancashire (L40). This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious individual with a valid Counterbalance FLT licence.

The Role:

As a Counterbalance FLT Driver, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the site, ensuring materials are moved safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

. Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.

. Load and unload HGVs and other vehicles.

. Move waste and recyclable materials around the site.

. Stack and store materials in designated locations.

. Carry out daily pre-use forklift checks and report any defects.

. Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.

. Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures.

. Support the wider site team with general yard duties when required.
