The school provides outstanding education for children and young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Complex Learning Difficulties (CLD), creating a nurturing environment where every pupil is supported to achieve their full potential through personalised learning and a strong team approach.
The school is looking to appoint a full-time, permanent SEND teacher from September. In this role, you will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet individual learning needs while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team. You will play a key role in helping pupils build confidence, develop independence, and achieve meaningful progress both academically and personally.
The successful SEND teacher will have:
•
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
•
Experience teaching within a SEND school or specialist educational setting
•
A strong understanding of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Complex Learning Difficulties (CLD)
•
Experience planning and delivering creative, differentiated lessons that meet individual learning needs
•
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
•
A patient, compassionate, and resilient approach to supporting children and young people with additional needs
