Personal Assistant Required - Billingham

Location: Billingham

Hours: 10 hours per week

Monday: 10:00am - 12:00pm
Tuesday to Friday: 12:00pm - 2:00pm

A sociable and friendly gentleman based in Billingham is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide support with social outings and community access.

The gentleman enjoys getting out and about and is seeking a reliable companion to support him in maintaining an active and enjoyable lifestyle. Activities may include walks in Billingham, Stockton, and occasionally further afield to places such as Saltburn. He also enjoys shopping, going out for lunch or dinner, visiting the pub, and playing bingo.

The ideal Personal Assistant will be friendly, reassuring, patient, and calm in their approach. The gentleman enjoys having a routine and would benefit from someone who can provide consistent support while encouraging his independence and enjoyment of community activities.

Duties may include:

Supporting access to the local community
Accompanying on social outings and leisure activities
Assisting with shopping trips
Providing companionship and social support
Supporting attendance at local venues, including cafés, restaurants, pubs, and bingo sessions

Essential Qualities:

Friendly and approachable
Calm and reassuring manner
Reliable and dependable
Respectful of routines and personal preferences
Good communication skills

Desirable:

A driver with access to a vehicle (preferred but not essential)
Previous care or support experience (preferred but not essential)
