Duties of the HGV Trailer Technician:

- Servicing, repairing, and maintaining HGV trailers, including tail lifts and curtain siders

- Diagnosing faults accurately and efficiently

- Conducting routine inspections and safety checks on trailers

- Managing workload in a fast-paced environment with efficiency

- Planning and prioritising repair tasks effectively

- Ensuring work is completed to a high standard of quality and compliance

- Maintaining records of work carried out

Requirements of the HGV Trailer Technician:

- Proven experience as an HGV Trailer Technician or in a similar role

- Experience working with trailers, including tail lifts and curtain siders

- Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent

- HGV driving licence would be advantageous but is not essential

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent organisational and time management skills

- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy workshop environment
