Our client, a reputable family-run dealership group with a strong presence across the West Midlands, is seeking a fully qualified Vehicle Technician to join their dealership in Tewkesbury. Duties as a Vehicle Technician:

- Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and dealership standards

- Accurately diagnose vehicle issues and report findings to the Service Manager

- Ensure vehicle safety, performance, and reliability by adhering to quality procedures

- Comply with all manufacturer and dealership procedures and safety protocols

- Work efficiently within a busy workshop environment, maintaining high standards of work

- Contribute to team targets and provide excellent customer service

- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used

- Possess or obtain an active MOT licence (training provided if needed) and stay updated with industry developments, especially in electric vehicle technology

Requirements for the Vehicle Technician position:

- Qualified Vehicle Technician with a minimum IMI/NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent

- Valid UK driving licence with minimal points

- Ability to produce high-quality work within a fast-paced dealership environment

- Strong team player with a commitment to excellence

- Motivated to meet and exceed team targets

- Reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Tewkesbury

- Previous experience working in a franchise-approved dealership is advantageous but not essential

- Demonstrable enthusiasm for automotive technology and ongoing professional development
