Summary

Our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership near Bath, is seeking a fully qualified Vehicle Technician to join their Service Department.

Duties as a Vehicle Technician:

- Carry out fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards

- Accurately diagnose vehicle faults and report findings to the Service Manager regarding vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance

- Ensure all work complies with quality procedures and manufacturer guidelines

- Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail at all times

- Assist with technical advice and support to colleagues as required

- Adhere to health and safety regulations within the workshop environment

Requirements as a Vehicle Technician:

- Fully qualified Vehicle Technician to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

- Minimum of 1–2 years’ technical experience in a franchise-approved dealership environment

- Clean driving licence with minimal points

- Motivated team player capable of producing high-quality work

- Ability to work efficiently within a targeted environment

- Experience or accreditation with MOT testing is desirable but not essential

- Knowledge of light commercial vehicles or vans is advantageous
