Summary

Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician seeking a rewarding opportunity within a reputable, family-operated garage in Horsham? Our client, a well-established business with over 30 years of service, is looking for a dedicated Vehicle Technician to join their friendly and professional team. Duties:

- Performing general servicing and mechanical repairs, including brake, suspension, clutch, and timing belt or chain replacements

- Diagnosing faults and conducting fault finding, with training provided as needed

- Supporting and mentoring apprentice and junior staff members

- Contributing to maintaining a positive, quality-focused workshop environment

- Assisting with MOT testing and additional technician duties as required

- Upholding high standards of workmanship and delivering excellent customer service as a Vehicle Technician

Requirements:

- 2-3 years of experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally within a garage or dealership setting

- Strong team player with a positive attitude and good personality fit

- Reliable, professional, and motivated to develop further in the motor trade

- Proven track record of loyalty, with many team members exceeding ten years’ tenure

- Skills in diagnostics and mechanical repairs are desirable

- MOT testing experience is advantageous but not essential; training can be provided

- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to the needs of the business
