Summary

Our client, a reputable franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealer group with multiple sites nationwide, is seeking an experienced Van Technician to join their team.

This Van Technician position provides a significant opportunity for skilled motor trade professionals to develop within a well-established and supportive environment.

Duties as a Van Technician:

- Perform all service and maintenance work to manufacturer specifications within the set timeframes as the Van Technician

- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics and repairs of vans, ensuring high-quality workmanship

- Support colleagues with technical issues and implement innovative solutions

- Accurately document diagnosis, repairs, safety inspections, and servicing activities

- Ensure compliance with all company policies and safety procedures

- Maintain a focus on customer satisfaction through professional service delivery

- Contribute to team targets and overall workshop efficiency

Requirements:

- Fully qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair

- At least 1 to 2 years of post-qualification practical experience as a Van Technician

- Proven ability to perform high-quality service and repair work in a busy workshop environment

- Strong diagnostic skills and understanding of light commercial vehicle systems

- Excellent team attitude with effective communication skills

- Motivated to meet targets and develop technical expertise

- Valid UK driving licence
