The Social Care (Self Directed Support) (Scotland Act) 2013 requires local authorities to offer choice in the way that support to meet eligible support outcomes are met through self-directed support. It also involves linking with other initiatives including the Integration of Social Care and Health.
  • Providing leadership and vision in the delivery of the objectives of Self-Directed Support and Carer Support.

The work will involve close liaison with a wide range of agencies involved in providing care and support services.

The Post holder will be responsible for guiding the work of multiple simultaneous improvement work streams across a broad range of health and social care topics.

This post is temporary for one year.
