This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional transport operation offering consistent weekday work, competitive rates of pay, and flexible working with both regular and ad-hoc shifts available.You'll be driving modern Class 1 vehicles on planned delivery routes, working as part of a professional and supportive transport team. This role offers consistent Monday-to-Friday work with no weekend requirement.Benefits· £17.00–£18.00 per hour· Paid every Wednesday· Monday to Friday – no weekend work· Day shifts with various start times· Regular or ad-hoc shifts available· Modern fleet vehicles· Ongoing work with a supportive teamKey Responsibilities· Driving an HGV Class 1 vehicle on scheduled routes· Completing deliveries safely and efficiently· Carrying out daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and safety· Completing delivery paperwork and daily records· Following Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive, and tachograph regulations· Maintaining a professional approach when representing the company· Keeping the assigned vehicle clean and reporting any defects promptlyRequirements· Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence· Valid Driver CPC qualification· Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi Tacho) card· No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)· Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience is preferred· Experience delivering into busy locations is an advantage· Experience using tail lifts and manual or electric pump trucks is beneficial but not essential· Good time management and communication skills· Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious attitudeIf you're a dependable HGV Class 1 Driver looking for regular weekday work with competitive rates of pay, we'd love to hear from you.
