This is a great opportunity for experienced drivers looking for reliable weekday work, competitive pay rates, and the flexibility of choosing between regular ongoing shifts and ad-hoc assignments.You will be driving well-maintained Class 2 vehicles on planned routes, completing deliveries across the local and surrounding areas. Drivers who are confident operating in busy locations, navigating tighter roads, and have previous experience with tail lifts will be highly valued.Benefits· £16.00–£17.00 per hour· Paid every Wednesday· Monday to Friday – no weekend work· Day shifts with a range of start times· Regular ongoing work or flexible ad-hoc shifts available· Modern vehicles and professional working environment· Support from an experienced transport teamKey Responsibilities· Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently· Completing planned deliveries and collections· Carrying out vehicle checks before and after shifts· Ensuring all deliveries are completed professionally and on time· Completing delivery paperwork and required daily records· Following Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive, and tachograph regulations· Using delivery equipment where required, including tail lifts and pump trucks· Reporting any vehicle defects promptly and maintaining vehicle standardsRequirements· Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence· Valid Driver CPC qualification· Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi Tacho) card· No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)· Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred· Experience working in busy delivery areas is an advantage· Previous experience using tail lifts, manual pump trucks, or electric pump trucks is beneficial· Good communication and time management skills· Reliable, professional, and safety-focused approachIf you're a dependable HGV Class 2 Driver looking for consistent Monday-to-Friday work with competitive rates of pay, we'd like to hear from you.
