TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school in Newcastle to recruit a dedicated Secondary Teacher. The school is committed to providing a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential through high-quality teaching, strong pastoral support and an inclusive school culture.
The school is looking to appoint a qualified Secondary Teacher on a temporary basis from September. The successful Secondary Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement, assessing student progress and contributing to the wider life of the school while working closely with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for students.
The successful Secondary Teacher will have:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Experience teaching within a UK secondary school
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons
- A positive, adaptable and proactive approach to teaching
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
- A dedicated team of consultants available 24/7 to help you with the easy onboarding process
- CPD Courses and certificates as part of the My-Progression channel
