Summary

Duties will include: Maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of trauma and elective patients To share with colleagues responsibility for the day-to-day management of the trauma patients Cover for colleagues annual leave and other authorised absences Any responsibility that relates to delivery of a special interest To undertake all clinical duties appropriate to the grade of Specialty Doctor including outpatient clinics, operating lists, ward rounds To engage with service improvement To take responsibility for performance measures, both individually and across the department To work flexibly when required to manage peaks of demand, within agreed acceptable limits To work constructively with the CGCL around booking of leave, to ensure that not only emergency cover, but also service provision is protected Fulfil duties of weekly timetable including any out of hours responsibilities. Participate in Care Group Governance activities.
