About the Role As a Care Support Assistant, you will receive full training to help you thrive in your role and gain confidence in providing quality care. After training is completed, you will receive a competitive rate of pay of £16.37 for day shifts and £17.07 for night shifts This position is a bank position including days and waking nights supporting a gentlemen with the following needs: Autism Spectrum Condition with Pathological Demand Avoidance features (PDA), ADHD, Central Sensitivity Syndrome including Pervasive and Severe Sensory processing difficulties, Fibromyalgia, Sleep Disorder, Visual Snow and episodic altered visual perception, Mixed Anxiety, OCD, symptoms of Agoraphobia, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia. Your Responsibilities as a Care Support Assistant Prompts with personal care Medication administration Meal and drink preparation Booking appointments Household tasks such as dusting, hovering etc. Laundry Scribing What We’re Looking For To be successful as a Care Support Assistant, you’ll need: A caring and empathetic nature Good communication skills A genuine desire to support others Basic IT and record-keeping skills A full UK driving licence is advantageous Previous experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided Additional Information Person-centred care is very important to us here at Your Life Your Way and you will have the opportunity to meet our client during the recruitment process.
