Summary

On appointment, the candidate will have a formal job plan meeting with the clinical director when the candidate will have the opportunity to make changes to the time-table to suit the candidates needs. During acute medicine, all other clinical commitments are cancelled. Clinic templates allocate 30 minutes for new patients and 15 minutes for follow up. The candidate will be allocated three clinics per week; 1) a general respiratory clinic with 5 new and 3 follow up patients, 2) a TB clinic with a maximum of 3 new patients and 5 follow ups and 3) a pleural clinic with a maximum of 4new and 2 follow up patients. Slots may be used flexibly for new or follow-up patients as needed.
