Summary
Continuing responsibility for the care of patients in his/her charge, including all administrative duties associated with patient care. Leadership, development and organisation of the services in his/her charge in line with the Trusts business plans. Liaison and communication with the Clinical Director of Respiratory Medicine, the General Manager and the Managing Director and the North East London Integrated Care Board. Development of his/her own interests and specialisms within the specialty and including active participation in research programmes. Corporate and individual responsibility for the professional management of doctors in training including the approval and monitoring of on calls rotas and locum appointments.
