Summary
Blay Care are a family orientated care company established in Derby for 20 years. We are recruiting caring, compassionate and reliable Community Care Workers to join our friendly team to provide high quality, person centred care and support to people in their own homes. You will play an important role in helping our clients maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life. Your duties may include assisting with personal care, preparing meals, supporting with medication, light household tasks and providing companionship, depending on each individual's care plan and needs. Key Responsibilities: * Providing person-centred care and support in clients' own homes * Assisting with personal care and daily living tasks and activities * Supporting clients with mobility and independence * Preparing meals and assisting with household tasks where required * Supporting with medication in line with care plans and training * Providing companionship and emotional support * Maintaining accurate and confidential care records * Working in partnership with families, colleagues and other professionals * Promoting dignity, respect, choice and independence at all times About You: We are looking for someone who is: * Caring, compassionate and genuinely committed to helping others * Reliable, punctual and responsible * Respectful of people's dignity, privacy and individual choices * A good communicator with a positive attitude * Able to work independently as well as part of a team * Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training can be provided * A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable, depending on the location of care visits.
