Summary

Renal Medicine (ST3+ equivalent)

12 months from September 2026

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint 1 new senior clinical fellow to join our renal department starting from September 2026 for 12 months. You will be part of a team providing both inpatient and outpatient care to patients with the full spectrum of kidney diseases and be able to participate in a full range of educational opportunities present within the department.

Successful candidates will work within a well led environment, committed to supporting ongoing professional development. These posts are ideal for those who:

  .   Have completed internal medicine training

.      Are making the transition from core to specialist training and seeking to consolidate knowledge and experience

·         Have not previously worked in the NHS and seek an introduction to renal medicine at higher specialty trainee level

·         Completed specialist training and keen to gain additional experience of subspecialties in a world renowned institution

 

 

 

The successful applicant will rotate through :

- Acute Kidney Unit

- Acute transplant recipients,

- ITU stepdowns

-AKI transferred from other trusts in North Central London as part of the AKI Network.

They will also attend a variety of clinics including :

- Dialysis (Haemodialysis and PD)

-  Transplantation: acute and chronic clinics, transplant assessment clinic

- Low clearance

- general and sub-speciality nephrology e.g. vasculitis, lupus,. Nephrotic syndrome.
