Summary
The position operates on a rotating 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, working 4 consecutive day shifts followed by 4 consecutive night shifts, all consisting of 12-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production and processing equipment.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and perform effective fault finding and repairs.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
• Record maintenance activities accurately using the site's maintenance management system.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Work closely with production teams to maintain smooth operational performance.
• Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and improvement projects where required.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards within the engineering workshop and plant areas.
About You
We're looking for an engineer who is proactive, reliable, and enjoys working within a busy manufacturing or industrial environment.
You will ideally have:
• Previous experience in a Maintenance Engineer, Multi-Skilled Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or Electrical Engineer role.
• Experience working within manufacturing, production, recycling, waste processing, FMCG, heavy industry, or a similar industrial environment.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• A recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC, or equivalent).
• A good understanding of health and safety within an industrial setting.
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work a rotating 4 Days / 4 Nights shift pattern.
