Role
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet individual learning needs
- Support students with SEMH, SEN, and additional learning needs to achieve their full potential
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to maximise engagement and outcomes
- Promote positive behaviour through effective classroom management and relationship building
- Support pupils' emotional wellbeing, confidence, and personal development
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, carers, and external professionals
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where every learner can thrive
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, professionalism, and educational practice
Requirements
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or are working towards achieving it
- Have experience within SEN, SEMH, alternative provision, or secondary education settings
- Build positive, trusting relationships with young people
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Are passionate about inclusive education and supporting every learner to succeed
- Are adaptable, resilient, and confident working within dynamic educational environments
