Description
As an FLT Counterbalance Operative based outside of Newark, you will play a key and pivotal role in the company as you will be responsible for operating an FLT to move, lift, load and unload containers.
Key Responsibilities for Forklift counterbalance
• Operating a counterbalance forklift to lift, move, load and unload containers.
• Ensure proper loading and unloading of goods.
• Monitoring and controlling continuous flow.
• Safety and Compliance: Follow all health, safety regulations, particularly those relating to forklift including conducting routine inspections and maintenance of the forklift.
• Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions immediately.
• Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organised working environment, ensuring work areas are free of hazards.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise for Forklift counterbalance
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety protocols.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
Job Requirements for Forklift counterbalance
Full-time role based on the outskirts of Newark.
• 40 hours per week working either 6am – 2pm or 12pm – 8pm
• OT is possibly available.
• £13.71 per hour
• A valid in date FLT Licence is required.
• Work environment is predominantly outside.
• Free on-site parking.
• Kitchen Facilities
• Own transport required due to location.
