Seeking to recruit two Personal Assistant (PA) to provide support from Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 5.30pm, amounting to 40 hours per week to be shared between two personal assistants .
The postholder will be responsible for providing assistance with all aspects of daily living, including personal care tasks such as washing, bathing, dressing, and feeding. Additional duties will include meal planning and preparation, cooking, domestic cleaning, and supporting the maintenance of a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
The role also involves facilitating participation in social, recreational, and community-based activities, including ten-pin bowling, visits to garden centres, and other outings that promote independence, wellbeing, social inclusion, and quality of life.
The successful candidate will be dependable, compassionate, patient, and respectful, with the ability to develop and maintain a professional working relationship while upholding the individual’s dignity, choice, privacy, and independence. A flexible approach is essential, as responsibilities may vary in accordance with changing needs, preferences, and daily routines.
Please note that all hoisting and bathing duties are undertaken on a two-to-one basis. Appropriate training, guidance, and ongoing support will be provided where required.

Experience of supporting adults with physical disabilities and learning disabilities would be beneficial, particularly with personal care, communication, mobility support, community access, and promoting independence. Hours are – 930am - 530pm Monday to Friday . Times to be agreed.
