The Role

We are looking to strengthen our fantastic team with an additional Goods In Operative to support the smooth running of our warehouse and store operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and checking incoming goods, maintaining accurate stock records, supporting customers, and ensuring the warehouse and storage areas remain organised and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive and unload incoming shipments of goods

- Inspect and verify the accuracy of received items

- Record deliveries and update the computer system

- Resolve discrepancies and issues with suppliers

- Organise and stock merchandise on shelves and in storage areas

- Operate a pallet truck safely to move heavy items when required

- Maintain cleanliness and organisation across the store floor and storage areas

- Support inventory management, stock rotation and stocktaking

- Assist customers with finding and selecting products

- Greet customers and provide support with their purchases

- Complete data entry and process cash/card payments relating to sales

- Provide product information and answer customer queries
