Are you a strategic finance leader ready to shape the future of higher education?

We’re seeking an experienced and driven Head of Faculty Finance to join our dynamic Finance leadership team at the University of Southampton. In this pivotal role, you'll provide expert financial guidance to one of our academic faculties, working closely with senior leaders to support world-class research, teaching, and innovation.

You’ll lead a team of finance professionals, ensuring the delivery of insightful analysis, robust budgeting, and strategic financial planning. This is your opportunity to make a real impact—contributing to long-term decision-making at one of the UK’s top research-intensive universities.

What we’re looking for:

A qualified accountant with substantial post-qualification experience

Proven ability to lead teams and influence at a senior level

Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
