Summary

The postholder will work within the Wellbeing Service with people on probation. Responsibility for the day by day operation of the project which includes meeting the needs of people within the criminal justice system and liaising with other agencies. Including facilitating drop ins/ wellbeing hub, group facilitation and assessment of support needs. The postholder will work within the overall ethos of the Charity.

Duties-

To work with Rochdale probation and partners (RCT) within the consortium of GMIRS Wellbeing Service

Working with other agencies, including Ingeus, Turning Point, POPS Family service etc.

Holding a small caseload of individuals, acting as their designated ‘key worker’ and coordinating / engaging other services in their support

Conduct strengths based assessments looking at an individual’s strengths, needs and aspirations, with firm understanding of the trauma they may have experienced and how this may affect them.

Complete need assessments and individual risk assessments, actioning as appropriate e.g. raising safeguarding alerts through appropriate channels

Act as point of contact with individuals, including convening multi-disciplinary meetings and ensuring actions are followed up

Build trusting relationships with individuals, encouragement to access services on offer from the Hub/ ROC/ RCT

Work with partners to facilitate access to services as required, such as housing, health, mental health, substance misuse,social care, criminal justice

Produce service monitoring reports/ outcomes, utilising internal and external systems, liasiing with lead service provider (BigLife) and co-operating to produce information on request.

To participate in "in service" training as required and to do so with the support of Wellbeing Service Team Lead.

Help maintain the integrity of the Environmental and Quality Management Systems according to standards ISO14001 and ISO9001

Engage in required training and CPD to stay updated with administrative practices, policies, and regulatory compliance

Any other duties as directed by Senior Management
