Job Purpose:I am a disabled lady who is looking for someone to provide support with going out and about and enable me to enjoy my life again.Location: Breckland, NR20Details:I would like to employ a Personal Assistant for supported activities and going and about. I have mobility issues (currently using crutches for walking) but would like to build my strength and improve my walking. I find it difficult to get out of the house so you would be supporting me with access to community. I used to enjoy swimming and going to cinema and would like to be able to do this again.Person specification:Listed below are the skills, competencies and qualities that are essential and desirable for the post. My assessment of these, both on application and at interview, will be the main factor in determining if you are successful. Please refer to these when submitting your application.Essential:Female carer (Schedule 9, P1 of the Equality Act 2010 applies).Experience of supporting clients with depression.Caring and professional.Motivator with empathy.Summary terms and conditions:· The rate of pay for this position is £12.89 per hour· Hours and times of work: 5 hours per week, 3.5 hours on Tuesday and Friday afternoons.· The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.· This position requires the employee to complete the following free annual training: GDPR, Health and Safety, Mental Health, Moving and Handling. Post is subject to the following:· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.· Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
