Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a reputable dealership in Bishops Stortford. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified technicians or experienced mechanics eager to further develop their careers within a premium automotive environment. Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

- Conducting vehicle health checks and pre-delivery inspections on both new and used vehicles

- Performing routine servicing and repairs following manufacturer guidelines

- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic equipment

- Fitting accessories and fulfilling customer modifications requests as a Vehicle Technician

- Completing documentation accurately and ensuring warranty compliance

- Road testing vehicles post-repair to verify issues have been resolved

- Maintaining high standards of quality and safety throughout all tasks

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification

- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a dealership or independent garage

- Full UK driving licence

- Self-motivated with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently

- Knowledge of diagnostics, MOT testing, and electric vehicle systems is desirable but not essential
