Summary
Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity? TeacherActive is working with a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Sheffield, and we're looking for enthusiastic TAs to join our team for September.
Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant or have recently gained relevant school-based experience, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
- Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
- Working 1:1 with pupils or leading small intervention groups.
- Assisting the class teacher to create an engaging learning environment.
- Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEND where required.
- Helping to promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil progress.
- Previous experience working in a primary school.
- A positive, proactive and caring approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
