This is an excellent temporary to permanent opportunity for a reliable and motivated driver looking to build a long-term career with a supportive employer. Full training is provided, making this an ideal role for both experienced and newly qualified drivers.Key Responsibilities:· Driving an HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicle safely and efficiently· Completing scheduled routes in and around the local area· Loading and unloading where required, with manual handling involved· Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects· Ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and on time· Providing excellent customer service throughout the working day· Completing all relevant paperwork and following company procedures· Adhering to all road traffic regulations, driver hours legislation, and company policies· Working closely with the transport team to deliver an excellent serviceWhat We're Looking For:· A valid UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence· A valid Driver CPC qualification· A valid Digital Tachograph (Digi) Card· Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply· A good understanding of driver hours and road safety regulations· Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties· Strong communication and customer service skills· Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a teamIf you're looking for a rewarding driving role with excellent rates of pay, full training, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position with a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.To apply for this position, visit workchain.co.uk and complete the online application form.
