The Role
Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will lead the day-to-day Quality Assurance function and work closely with Production, Hygiene, Engineering and Technical teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting the site QA team.
- Maintaining and improving the Quality Management System.
- Supporting BRCGS, HACCP, customer and legal compliance.
- Conducting audits, inspections, traceability exercises and quality checks.

- Driving corrective actions and continuous improvement.
- Promoting a strong and positive food safety culture across the site.
About You
You will ideally have:
- QA or technical experience within food manufacturing.

- Experience with internal audits and root cause investigations.
- The confidence to challenge standards and influence positive change.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- A recognised Food Safety or HACCP qualification.
Experience within seafood or chilled food manufacturing would be beneficial, but it is not essential.
Why Apply?
You will be joining a successful and growing business where your ideas, experience and contribution will be valued.
This role offers:
- Genuine ownership and influence over site quality standards.
- The opportunity to lead and develop a QA team.
- Ongoing training and professional development.
- Support from experienced site and Group Technical teams.
- The chance to contribute to meaningful improvement projects.
