  • A highly respected veterinary practice with three successful branches across Northumberland is looking to recruit a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join its friendly and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and motivated veterinary nurse seeking a varied role across two well-equipped practices that place exceptional patient care and animal welfare at the centre of everything they do.

    Known for their outstanding reputation, this highly accredited practice has built its success through ethical veterinary care, preventative medicine and providing affordable, high-quality treatment. They are passionate about supporting both their patients and their team, creating an environment where professional development is encouraged and valued.

    The successful Veterinary Nurse will work 3 or 4 days per week between two branches, with participation in one out-of-hours evening per week and one in six weekend shifts until 10pm. Generous reimbursement is provided for all out-of-hours work, alongside mileage payments for travel.

    The role offers a varied caseload, including providing outstanding inpatient and outpatient nursing care, assisting veterinary surgeons during surgical procedures, monitoring anaesthesia, delivering post-operative care, carrying out diagnostic tests including blood sampling and radiography, and supporting clients with preventative healthcare advice.
