Summary
The Best Connection Dudley are recruiting for a Plater/Fabricator for our long time client in Cradley Heath The role offers regular shifts Monday to Friday role with the chance to become straight permanent Register today and start tomorrow.
Pay rate & Hours:
- Monday - Friday
- £18.00 - £25.00
- 7:00 AM - 16:00 PM
Responsibilities of the Plater / Fabricator
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Mark out, cut, shape and assemble steel components
- Fabricate structural steel, plate work and bespoke fabrications
- Tack weld where required prior to final welding
- Use fabrication equipment including guillotines, press brakes, grinders and drill.
- carry out quality checks to ensure work meets specification
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Plater, Fabricator, Fabricator Welder
- ability to read and work from technical drawings
- experience working with mild steel (stainless steel and aluminium experience is advantageous
- good attention to to detail and strong work ethic
