The Best Connection are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers for a well-established automotive logistics company based in Hellaby, Rotherham.
This role involves night trunking of automotive parts to RDCs across the UK using double deck vehicles. Some long-distance routes and overnight work will be required. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled, reliable drivers looking for ad hoc or ongoing work with a reputable company.
Duties Include:
- Night trunking of automotive parts to RDCs nationwide
- Operating a Class 1 (C+E) double deck vehicle
- Ensuring loads are transported safely and securely
- Working as part of a double-manned team on long-distance routes
- Completing all relevant paperwork
- Complying with transport legislation and company procedures
✅ Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid CPC Qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum of 1 year's Class 1 driving experience
- Double deck vehicle experience is preferred
- Comfortable with night shifts and overnight routes
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
Shift Pattern:
- Sunday to Saturday
- Start times between 20:00 and 00:00 (midnight)
- Ad hoc and ongoing shifts available
