Pay: £14.36 - £16.92 per hour (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00 | Friday: 08:00 - 16:00

Contract Type: Temp to Perm

The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Control Supervisor to join our client, a well-established family-run business based in Sutton Coldfield.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality professional to join a growing manufacturing environment, ensuring products, processes, and documentation meet strict quality, regulatory, and customer standards.

Following a successful temporary period, there is the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

The Role

As a Quality Control Supervisor, you will play a key role in managing quality assurance and quality control processes across the business.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities
  • Supporting Wholesale Qualified Person (WQP) and Deputy Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance (Deputy QPPV) duties
  • Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Managing document control, including issuing, tracking, and archiving Batch Production Records (BPRs)
  • Working closely with production teams to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved
  • Monitoring performance data and producing quality reports
  • Conducting internal and third-party quality audits
  • Maintaining Health & Safety procedures, including Fire Safety compliance
  • Ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
  • Managing stock procedures including quarantine, batch rotation, labelling, release, shrink wrapping, storage, and stock movement
  • Handling customer complaints and quality queries via telephone, email, and written communication
  • Maintaining accurate quality records using Microsoft Excel and other systems
  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the business

Requirements

Essential:

  • Previous experience within Quality Assurance or Quality Control
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems and documentation
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

  • Experience within a pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
  • Internal auditing experience
  • Pharmacovigilance or Deputy QPPV experience

Pay & Working Hours

  • £14.36 - £16.92 per hour (depending on experience)
  • Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00
  • Friday: 08:00 - 16:00
  • Temp to Perm opportunity
