Summary

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver on behalf of our well-established client based in Durham. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 1 Driver seeking regular night.

As a Class 1 Driver, you will be carrying out straightforward trunking duties with modern vehicles, pre-planned routes and no handball involved.

The Role

Night trunking work (A to B deliveries)

Typical start times from 17:00 (may vary depending on route)

Pre-loaded vehicles

Pre-planned routes

Securing loads with straps

No handball or multi-drop work

Pay Rates (PAYE)

Monday to Friday: £16.00 per hour

Saturday: £17.50 per hour

Sunday: £18.50 per hour

What We're Looking For

Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence

Valid CPC Qualification Card

Digital Tachograph Card

Good knowledge of drivers' hours regulations

Reliable and professional approach to work
