Summary

Drama Teacher – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately

These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings in Attleborough and the surrounding areas. You will be supporting schools by delivering engaging Drama lessons across Key Stages as part of general supply cover.

Duties as Drama Teacher:

  • Deliver creative and engaging Drama lessons following provided plans
  • Inspire students through practical and performance-based activities
  • Encourage teamwork, confidence-building, and expressive communication
  • Manage behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies
  • Assess and record pupil progress where required
  • Contribute positively to performing arts departments when placed in longer-term roles

Ideal Drama Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge in Drama and performing arts
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities
  • Confident classroom management skills
  • Adaptable and comfortable working across different school environments
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
