Summary

Plumbing Lecturer

Location: North London

Salary: £45 per hour

Contract: Long-Term Temporary

Start Date: August/September

We are currently working with a well-established Further Education College in North London that is seeking a Plumbing Lecturer to join its Construction department on a long-term temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging teaching across Plumbing programmes while helping learners develop the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in the industry.

The successful candidate will teach both practical workshop sessions and classroom-based theory, supporting learners from Level 1 through to Level 3.

About the Role

Deliver high-quality Plumbing teaching across Levels 1 to 3

Plan and prepare engaging lessons, practical activities, and assessments

Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback

Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

What We're Looking For

Level 3 qualification in Plumbing

Relevant industry experience within the Plumbing sector

Strong communication and organisational skills

Passion for supporting and developing learners

Desirable

Previous teaching, training, or assessing experience

A recognised teaching qualification

Experience working within Further Education or apprenticeship delivery

Knowledge of current industry standards and best practice
