What Can You Expect?
We are seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented, and reliable Payroll Officer to join the growing HTG-UK team on a temporary maternity cover contract of up to 12 months, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to play a key role within a busy and supportive team, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining the highest standards of payroll compliance.
As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll, ensuring all salaries, wages, deductions, and statutory payments are administered in line with company policies, current legislation, and HMRC requirements. You will take ownership of maintaining payroll records, resolving payroll queries, and ensuring employees receive the highest level of service while contributing to the continued success of our organisation.
Summary Of Main Duties Include
Processing weekly and monthly payroll for all employees, including overtime and bonuses.
Maintain and update payroll records, always ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Collaborating with HR and Finance teams to provide reports, insights, and support for compliance reviews.
Resolving payroll discrepancies reported by staff and management and responding promptly to employee inquiries.
Ensuring compliance with relevant payroll legislation and reporting requirements.
Assisting with year-end processes, including P60s and audits.
