Summary
We're looking for a caring, compassionate, and reliable PA to provide person centered care and companionship to an individual within their own home.
Your role will involve assisting with daily routines, preparing meals, providing personal care, and offering friendly companionship. You'll build a positive relationship with the individual, ensuring they feel supported, comfortable, and valued throughout the day.
Depending on the time of day, your duties may include:
* Supporting with morning routines, including showering, dressing, and oral hygiene.
* Preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, and refreshments.
* Assisting with personal care while promoting dignity and independence.
* Providing companionship through conversation and social interaction.
* Supporting gentle activities, such as going for a walk when appropriate.
* Helping create a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable home environment.
On a Monday, Friday and Saturday there will be three visits during the day.
On a Tuesday and Wednesday there would be a morning visit and an evening visit.
One in the morning, one at lunch time and one in the evening.
Morning Visit – Approximately 1 hour
- Supporting with getting ready for the day, including showering, dressing, and brushing teeth.
- Support with Breakfast and preparing a morning coffee
Afternoon Visit - Approximately 2 hours
- Prepare and support with lunch
- Assist with personal care if required
- Provide companionship and social support
- If able accompany the individual on a gentle walk.
Evening Visit - Approximately 1 hour
-Share a coffee and friendly conversation
- Provide companionship and support with personal care needs
- Helps ensure the individual is comfortable and relaxed for the evening
