HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver

Previous experience is required for this position

UK HGV Class 2 driving licence (minimum 6 months) is required

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidates to secure a temporary-to-permanent position.

Job location: Milton Keynes MK6 area

Pay rate: £16.00 per hour, weekly pay in arrears, every Friday

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 5am - 2.30pm half hour unpaid break or 4am - 1.30pm half hour unpaid break

Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver to join our successful client based in the Milton Keynes MK6 area.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The right person will be responsible for driving the refuse collection lorry and collecting/emptying bins from residential and commercial premises accompanied by loaders.

A minimum of 90 days experience within the last 6 months on HGV Class 2 driving is essential.

. Drive and operate a Class 2 refuse lorry

. Collect refuse from a different local area each day of the week

. Assist with manually moving domestic wheelie bins

. Maintain awareness of other vehicles or people on the road and operate the lorry safely
