- Experience working with children or young people in an educational or care setting

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues

- Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting the growth and development of students with special educational needs

- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to the unique needs of each student

- A relevant qualification in education, special education, or a related field is desirable but not essential
