Summary

Our client, a leading educational provider in Trafford, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-time SEND Teacher to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting and empowering students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to reach their full potential.

As a Full-time SEND Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, inclusive, and personalised lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of your students. Your role will involve collaborating closely with the SEND team, parents/carers, and other professionals to develop and implement effective strategies that support the academic, social, and emotional growth of each child in your care.

The salary for this position ranges from £160 to £240 per day, depending on your experience and qualifications. For the first 12 weeks, you will receive a competitive daily rate (DOE), and from the 13th week onwards, you will be paid on the Main Pay Scale (MPS) plus the SEN1 allowance. Additionally, you will enjoy a range of excellent benefits, including paid PAYE, a new DBS refund, equal pay to permanent staff from the 13th week, access to the Step Perks package, and free continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities. Our client also offers a Refer a Friend bonus, which can provide you with an additional financial incentive.

As an ideal candidate, you will possess a recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or QTS, along with substantial experience in working with SEND students. You will demonstrate a deep understanding of SEND teaching methodologies, strategies, and interventions, and you will be skilled in adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each student. Your passion for ensuring that all learners have access to a high-quality education, coupled with your excellent communication and interpersonal skills, will be crucial in this role.

- Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive, and personalised lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of SEND students

- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching approaches as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes

- A recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or QTS

- Substantial experience in working with SEND students

- Thorough understanding of SEND teaching methodologies, strategies, and interventions

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents/carers, and colleagues

- Strong organisational and time-management skills

- Commitment to ensuring that all learners have access to a high-quality education
