Summary
Job responsibilities: To clean in all areas of the community hospital / sites, clinical and non-clinical areas. To use cleaning materials and equipment as instructed and trained by your line manager. To have a good understanding of COSSH and to report any issues to your line manager. To be aware of the Health and Safety Policy and report any issues of concern to their line manager. To engage with patients, staff, colleagues, and stakeholders and to deliver the highest standards of customer care and service. To be conscious of confidentiality at all times. To ensure all stock levels are maintained and to replenish supplies by requesting supplies as and when required from your line manager. 1. Communication: To maintain good communication with stakeholders (colleagues, patients, visitors, managers, and otherstaff). To communicate using variety of different methods (text message, face to face, email, letter, 121s and staff meetings) To have good customer service skills when talking to patients, staff, contractors, stakeholders etc. 2. Personal and People Development: To be compliant with all Mandatory and Statutory training. To partake in the Trusts PDR process. To partake in the Trusts 121 process. 3. Health Safety and Security: Assist in maintaining own and others health, safety and security. Maintain and develop an environment and culture that improves health, safety, and security. To support the wellbeing Initiative. Report all incidents/accidents to your line manager and the risk team 4. Service Improvement: To establish work systems to achieve high standards of hygiene. Maintain a system of communication with line manager to allow evaluation of feedback from service users. To amend any failures on cleaning audits. 5. Quality: Work unsupervised and maintain high standard. Maintain quality in your own work and encourage others to do the same. Contribute to a culture that improves quality. 6.
