Summary

2 x positions within the Medical Electronics technical services section 1 x position within the Mechanical Engineering technical services section Please see the attached Applicant Information Pack (combined Job Description and Person Specification) for key duties, responsibilities and pay/banding arrangements and progression. The vacancy will close at midnight 4th August 2026 Interviews face-to-face are due to be held on 13th August 2026 Further applicant requirements You will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions. Due to UK apprenticeship funding regulations applications must: Have the right to work in England and hold an eligible residency status. Normally have been ordinarily resident in the UK, EEA or relevant area for at least 3 years prior to the start of the apprenticeship (unless an exemption applies). Where applicable, hold an appropriate immigration status (e.g. settled or pre settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme) and be able to demonstrate this status will remain valid for the duration of the apprenticeship - without an expiry/renewal date within the timeframe. Applicants must also:a. Require new knowledge, skills and behaviours to undertake the apprenticeship.b. Not already hold qualifications or experience that would duplicate the content of the apprenticeship (i.e. the programme must represent new learning rather than repetition of an existing qualification). As per Home Office guidelines, please be aware that, unfortunately, the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular position.
