More detail about the role An exciting opportunity is available to join the Medical Imaging Department in Exeter at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. Based at Wonford and the Community Diagnostic Centre (Nightingale Hospital) site at Sowton, our Medical Imaging team provide a broad range of imaging modality services including, Plain Film X-Ray, Interventional Radiology, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound. As a Radiographic Assistant you will work to support the Radiographers and Radiologists across these modalities. The department opens from 8am until 8pm 7 days a week, with 24hour services for A&E and ward services. You will work on a rota with a range of shifts including 8am-8pm, 9am-5pm, 9am-1pm, 8.30am-5.30pm. You may also be required to work across the community hospitals. Successful candidates to the role will be flexible, adaptable and patient focussed, aiming to deliver the highest standards of clinical care. You will be supported to develop the skills required to work in this role. Exeter is a vibrant, welcoming and growing Cathedral city. Working Pattern: Our staff work work across a variety of shifts: 9-5, 8-8, 8.30-5.30, 9-1 on a rota basis; these are predominantly Monday to Friday 9-5, but weekend and bank holiday work is also part of the rota.
