Summary

You will provide professional leadership across medicines procurement, homecare services and the pharmacy data team , ensuring continuity of medicine supply, compliance with regulatory and governance requirements, effective contract management and optimal use of resources. The role also plays a pivotal part in managing medicines expenditure, delivering efficiency programmes, supporting service transformation and contributing to regional and national procurement initiatives. Working closely with senior pharmacy leaders, clinicians, finance colleagues, suppliers and external partners, you will drive continuous improvement, champion innovation and help shape the future direction of pharmacy support services. You will also act as a deputy Responsible Person for activities covered by the Trust's MHRA Wholesale Dealer's Licence, ensuring services meet the highest standards of quality, safety and compliance. We are seeking an ambitious and forward-thinking registered Pharmacy Technician with significant experience in pharmacy procurement, homecare, medicines management or operational pharmacy services. You will possess excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to influence, manage change and develop high-performing teams. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pharmacy professional to make a significant impact on patient care, service quality and medicines optimisation within a large and progressive NHS Trust.
