Summary
The post holder will be a key member of the Health Board with an opportunity to demonstrate leadership, innovation, negotiation and teaching. The post holder will have the ability to work under pressure, be keen to face challenges, be well organised and enthusiastic, possess good IT skills, excellent communication skills, and be able to work as an effective member of a Multidisciplinary Team. The purpose of this role is to provide specialist oncology nursing advice, guidance, support, and leadership. Work autonomously and manage own workload. Provide specialist education and training to Staff. The main focus of this role will be to support the care of inpatients, requiring specialist oncology advice during an admission to the hospital, there is also a requirement to act as key worker for out patients.
