  • 5 month fixed-term contract
  • £14.00 per hour + Sodexo Benefits
  • 37.5 Hours per week | 5 days out of 7
  • Working hours/shifts: Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:00 pm OR 11:00 am to 7:00 pm | Saturday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm | Sunday 8:00 am to 1:30 pm

What you’ll do:

As part of our team, you'll play a key role in delivering a high-quality catering service while creating a positive experience for customers and colleagues alike. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ordering supplies in line with Sodexo policies, using approved suppliers and maintaining effective stock control.
  • Ensuring kitchen and service areas are clean, safe, and welcoming, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
  • Completing all compliance checks, records, and documentation accurately and on time.
  • Supporting successful outcomes in internal and external audits through strong operational standards.
  • Leading, coaching, and developing team members to deliver outstanding service every day.
  • Building positive relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders through clear communication and a collaborative approach.
  • Remaining adaptable, organised, and professional in a fast-paced environment, while promoting safeguarding, health, and safety, and inclusive working practices

What you bring:

  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
  • A Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable).
  • Previous experience in a high-volume catering environment, ideally around three years or more.
  • Experience leading, motivating, and developing teams.
  • Excellent culinary knowledge and practical cooking skills.
  • A professional approach with high standards of personal presentation.
  • Knowledge of food allergies, special dietary requirements, and food labelling regulations.
  • An awareness of current food trends and industry developments, with a passion for continuous improvement.
