We’re looking for a caring, patient, and dedicated one-to-one support worker to provide individual support for children and help them feel safe, confident, and able to thrive. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who wants to make a positive impact every day.

👶 Your Role
As a one-to-one support worker, you will provide individual support tailored to a child’s specific needs, helping them to engage, develop confidence, and reach their full potential.
You’ll be:
- Providing dedicated one-to-one support tailored to an individual child’s needs
- Building a positive, trusting relationship with the child
- Supporting emotional wellbeing, confidence, and independence
- Helping the child engage in learning, play, or daily routines
- Working closely with parents, carers, and other professionals
- Observing progress and adapting support where needed
- Promoting a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
- Following safeguarding procedures and all relevant policies
🌱 What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who is compassionate, reliable, and committed to helping children overcome barriers and flourish.
Essential:
- A caring, patient, and positive approach
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Experience supporting children or young people
- Understanding of individual needs and inclusive practice
- Commitment to safeguarding and child wellbeing
Desirable:
- Relevant qualifications in childcare, education, support work, or a related field
- Previous experience in a one-to-one support role
Applicants with strong relevant experience and a willingness to learn will also be considered.
