We’re looking for a caring, patient, and dedicated one-to-one support worker to provide individual support for children and help them feel safe, confident, and able to thrive. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who wants to make a positive impact every day.

👶 Your Role

As a one-to-one support worker, you will provide individual support tailored to a child’s specific needs, helping them to engage, develop confidence, and reach their full potential.

You’ll be:

Providing dedicated one-to-one support tailored to an individual child’s needs

Building a positive, trusting relationship with the child

Supporting emotional wellbeing, confidence, and independence

Helping the child engage in learning, play, or daily routines

Working closely with parents, carers, and other professionals

Observing progress and adapting support where needed

Promoting a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment

Following safeguarding procedures and all relevant policies

🌱 What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is compassionate, reliable, and committed to helping children overcome barriers and flourish.

Essential:

A caring, patient, and positive approach

Excellent communication and listening skills

Experience supporting children or young people

Understanding of individual needs and inclusive practice

Commitment to safeguarding and child wellbeing

Desirable:

Relevant qualifications in childcare, education, support work, or a related field

Previous experience in a one-to-one support role

Applicants with strong relevant experience and a willingness to learn will also be considered.
