Summary
Go Off-Road is one of the UK’s leading off-road powersports
retailers, specialising in electric and petrol bikes, ATVs, parts,
accessories, servicing, and repairs. Based in Wakefield, we
supply customers nationwide through our showroom and online
store.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Assistant
Apprentice to join our team. This apprenticeship offers the
opportunity to gain valuable hands-on retail experience while
working towards a nationally recognised Level 2 Retailer
Apprenticeship qualification.
As a Retail Assistant Apprentice, you will learn how to deliver
excellent customer service, support daily store operations,
develop product knowledge, and work effectively as part of a
retail team. Full training and support will be provided throughout
your apprenticeship.
Key Responsibilities
• Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and
professional manner.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to
customer enquiries.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the till and
payment systems.
• Replenish stock and ensure shelves are well presented
and fully stocked.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
throughout the store.
• Assist with stock deliveries, stock rotation, and inventory
checks.
• Help create attractive product displays and promotional
areas.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including health
and safety requirements.
• Work as part of the team to achieve store sales and
customer service targets.
• Handle customer queries or complaints appropriately,
seeking support when necessary.
• Complete all apprenticeship learning activities,
coursework, and assessments within agreed timescales
Potential for permanent employment upon successful completion
of the apprenticeship, subject to business needs and
performance.
The apprenticeship delivery is with Barnsley College and based
in your place of work, apprentice to complete Retail Level 2.
